Command usage

LOCATION

This is the main command. When Find Us receives this command it will text you its current location. If the GPS receiver is not
switched on, Find Us will switch the GPS receiver on and text you its location when it gets a GPS fix.

This command can be used to track the current location of a person or a vehicle.

Track your kids
Track your car
Track your elderly parent or relative
Track a person on a golf course
Track each other while out camping in a forest.
Track each other while out skiing
Track each other wherever you are

The command can also be used to locate your lost phone. Send it the 'location command' and it will tell you exactly where it is.

You may want to keep Find Us permanently running in your own phone, so that your family always knows exactly where you are
and are able to find you.

NOTE

Find Us requires a password. Find Us will only respond to commands if it has been sent the correct password.
The password is created by you.

PHONE & PHONE SPEAK

This command can be used to eves drop or listen in on a conversation or background sounds.

If the remote device is wired to your home alarm or fixed into your vehicle, you may want to hear any conversations or noises of
forced entry. If the client phone can record phone call conversations, you may be able to use those recordings to identify the offenders
or use the recordings as proof of criminal activity.

The PHONE command can be used for all sorts of audio surveillance.

The PHONE SPEAK command can be used to start a hands free conversation by turning on the speaker phone on the remote device.
This can be very useful If the user of the remote device is driving a vehicle.

ALARMON & ALARMOFF

The alarm commands turn a phone into a extremely effective security device. Find Us will actually phone you when the alarm is triggered.

The principle of operation is very simple. The alarm works by detecting if the external power supply has been removed from the phone.

When Find Us detects that the external power supply has been removed for more than 1 second, it will phone you.

The phone can be easily wired into any alarm circuit.

Wire it to your car alarm
Wire it to your home alarm
Wire it to your business premises
Wire it to your HGV
Wire it to your caravan
Wire it to your shed
Wire it to your boat
Wire it to motorbike

You can also use it to detect electricity Supply failure simply by plugging the charger into the phone and into the mains supply. If the
mains supply fails, the phone will call you.

This can be very useful for protecting the contents of fridge's & freezers or any other device or appliance that requires an uninterrupted
mains supply.

IFMOVE

This command can be used to monitor the movement of a person or a vehicle.

The command works by allowing movement within a specified boundary. This boundary is set by you. If the person or vehicle moves
out of this boundary Find Us will text you. The boundary can be as small as a few meters or as large as many miles or kilometers.

IFSPEED

This command is used to monitor the speed of a person or a vehicle. The speed is measured in km/h (kilometers per hour). If the speed
of the person or vehicle exceeds the IFSPEED value (this value is set by you) Find Us will text you its current speed.

IFSTOP

This command is used to monitor if the person or vehicle has stopped moving. If the person or vehicle stops moving for more than
3 minutes, Find Us will text you its current GPS location.

If the GPS signal is lost while this command is active, Find Us will text you its last known position before the signal was lost. A loss of
signal can occur when the person or vehicle enters a building.

This command is useful for monitoring the movement of a vehicle. When the vehicle reaches its destination (if the vehicle is stationary for
more than 3 minutes) Find Us will text you its current location.

Note

The GPS receiver needs to be switched on before the IFMOVE, IFSPEED and IFSTOP commands are sent. The GPS receiver can be
switched on by sending the location command and switched off by sending the OFF command.

VISIBLE

Find Us can run invisibly in the background. This can be useful for when you want to prevent the user from accidentally shutting it down.

When Find Us is running invisibly, it can only be made visible by sending the visible command or by turning the phone off then on.

Power management

Find Us has been designed to conserve battery life. If the phone running Find Us is permanently installed in a vehicle or a building and
is connected to a power source then power consumption will not be a problem. But if the phone running Find Us is running of its battery
then battery life conservation is absolutely critical.

Certain commands need to keep the GPS receiver in the on state.

The IFMOVE, IFSTOP, IFSPEED commands will keep the GPS receiver switched on until the
OFF command is sent.

The LOCATION command will also keep the GPS receiver switched on until the OFF command is sent.

The LOCATION OFF command will automatically switch the GPS receiver off after Find Us has text you its current location.

Find Us will send a 'low battery warning' text to the last client if it detects that the battery is low.

The BATT command can be sent at any time to check the status of the battery.
