Introduction
Find Us will turn a phone that is running the Windows Mobile®
operating system and has a built in or external GPS receiver into
an
extremely effective tracking device, alarm alerting tool and audio surveillance tool.
If Find Us is running on a phone that is hidden somewhere in your car, and
your car is stolen, Find Us could tell you exactly where
your car is
located.
If Find Us is running on a phone that is connected to your car alarm or your
house alarm, Find Us will phone you if the alarm is
triggered.
Find Us can be used for audio surveillance. If Find Us is running on a phone
that is placed in your car or in your home and Find Us
has phoned you because
your alarm has been triggered you could listen in on conversations or background
noises in order to
confirm criminal activity.
Find Us has been designed to be totally controlled by sending text message
commands to it.The commands switch the GPS receiver
on or off and control all
the GPS functions.
Find Us will respond to all text messages sent to it by sending the requested information back to you.
The most important type of information Find Us will send is location
information and the alarm call. The alarm call is actually a phone
call that
Find Us will make if the alarm it is connected to is triggered.
Find Us keeps a temporary record of the commands sent to it. This record can
be seen at the bottom of the screen in the commands
received window.
The GPS receiver can also be switched on or off by pressing the GPS ON or GPS OFF buttons. When
the GPS receiver has been
switched on and a GPS fix has been established Find
Us will display its current locations longitude & latitude values in three
different
formats.
