Track & Locate
The locate utility allows the client to locate the remote device without the use of a SAT NAV. It works by comparing the latitude
and longitude values of the remote device with the latitude and longitude values of the client, it then calculates the difference
between the values and displays the result in geographical seconds. This type of navigation system can be used anywhere but it is
particularly suited to off road navigation.
How to use the locate utility.
Switch the GPS receiver on by pressing GPS, then pressing GPS ON. Wait until the GPS receiver has a GPS FIX.

When the GPS receiver has a fix Press MENU, then press LOCATE.
Place the phone number and the password of the remote device into the appropriate fields then press locate. Find Us on the client
device will then send the location command to Find Us on the remote device. The remote device will respond as it normally would
to the location command. The client device will display the status of the remote device at the top of the screen. when the remote
device gets a GPS fix, the client device will notify you by vibrating and it will display the latitude & longitude difference between the
two devices. The client device will also place the latitude and longitude values of the remote device on the clip board. This location
information can then be pasted directly into Google Maps search bar.
Locating the remote device
As the client moves towards the remote device the latitude and longitude difference values will decrease. The client will be in the
same location as the remote device when the latitude and longitude difference values are both zero.
A warning will be displayed if any of the values increase. The values will increase if the client moves further away from the remote
device.
Locating the remote device by pasting Latitude & Longitude values into Google Maps
Because the locate utility automatically places the location information of the remote device onto the clip board, the remote device
can also be located by pasting the location information that has been placed on the clip board into online maps such as
Google Maps or Google Maps for Windows Mobile.
